Laura started her food styling career after moving to Chicago following graduation from Purdue University with a BS degree in Foods and Nutrition and Food Science.

Laura's work has graced the pages of magazines, major newspapers, grocery shelves, restaurant menus, and more. She has worked as a commercial food stylist in Chicago for brands such as Kraft-Heinz , Nielsen-Massey, Chobani, Pepsi, Nabisco, Chilly Cow, Quaker, Kelloggs, Campbells, Tyson, and editorial clients The Chicago Tribune and Taste of Home Magazine.

During Covid, Laura set up a studio in her home where she can style and photograph what she tests in her kitchen. This freedom and creative play has only made her a better stylist. Loving every aspect of the shot from making a hand crafted surface, thrifting props and preparing the food.
